....if it looks good, you'll still need to get a cleaner into all of the nooks and crannies, inside rollers and needles, etc. The highest detergent content that I can think of is ATF, not to use to run it, but to emerse and clean. If you can find a way to spin the gears and drain the fluid later, ATF may remove that film from all running surfaces without tearing it down...otherwise.....it's operation time.
