I am getting tired of creating new stuff , or taking things apart for that matter . It sure feels nice to be putting something together and know that I will not have to tear it down 3 or 4 more times .
Got an old trick for some of you . Paint . When installing seals I paint the steel part before installing . I put the parts together while the paint is still wet . Never had a leak yet when I do them this way . I have had leaks when I did them dry .
I will use synthetic in the case along with some moly slip . I will add the moly slip once a year and change the oil when it is contaminated . Things shift real easy with this setup. molyslip can add years to a trans with poor acting syncros .
