I have checked the sender with a jumper and when grounded it does work, so I now know it is the ground. The problem I have is that there are no screws on the sender unit. It is one big 3 inch or so twist in unit. I guess I could drill through the top and put a screw in, however I hate to put a hole in it. someone mentioned brazing a tab on it, which I could run a ground wire from to the frame. Any other ideas?
