Carters still exist. Edelbrock bought the rights to the design years ago when it looked like Carter wasn
t going to make it then Carter did not fold or got absorbed into antoher comapny (can't really remember the exact story) Anyway you can still buy brand new Carter AFBs or you can go buy the Edelbrock if you want a shiney AFB. ;')
