We still have about 6 months to build up a snow pack, so I wouldn't start assuming yet. Remember, 1910 was the year that the Wellington slide wiped an entire passenger train off the tracks in the Cascades in February due to a record high snowpack, and then by mid-August, 10 million acres of North Idaho were burning. The old-timers say that when you have a year with a heavy snowpack, more than likely once it's gone, you won't see a drop of rain till September.
