Since you have converted to 12 volt, by all means use a 12 volt heater motor. I got a heater motor that fit perfectly from NAPA. They have a large book of heater motors/pictures with dimensions. Somehow, I forgot to write the number in my book so I can help with a number. It took some searching page by page to find the NAPA motor I wanted.
