Electrical Problem????

Hi:

I took the Beast out the other day. It had been sitting for over a month. It started right up, and after a good long warm up, I went on my merry way.

I recently replaced the starter solenoid and repaired some bad wires. After I did that, I had a starting issue when I did the Volo show in August. It happened again the other day.

When I mad my 2nd stop, and went to start the Beast, I barely got even a clicking sound. I needed a jump to get started, and that took a while. Now the battery felt hot to the touch.

This seems to happen if I shut off the Beast, then go to start it soon after. If it sits a while, it starts right up. The alt is putting out (maybe to much). The Battery is a year old, but the cells had to be filled a couple of times now. Any thoughts?
