46-68 have horizontal louvers in the hood, and the hood center line is nearly horizontal.
The earlier 41-42 1/2t has vertical louvers, and are taller, more slope to hood center. And a flat cab floor.
The intermediate 42-45 3/4t military stuff has interchangable frame with the 46-68 civvies, more squarish, horizontal hood, except on ambulances and carry-alls, which are pretty much like the civvie 46-68.
M37's have a flat hood that is hinged at the dash, all others have the calm shell style. No louvers on side pieces at all.
One change in 46-68 was to go to a starter solenoid in '57, so no hole in floor for the starter pedal. Very latest, like 66? change was to go to a modern door latch, with the bolt-head like stud on the jamb, rather than the older saw-tooth pawl design.
Some more changes were evident, but could be unbolted and swapped, like bed series, or accessories that may have been interchanged/removed. So I've kept this simple and ...sure? No need to mention scarce exports.
