NO if your transfer case is the original type.
(One lever, single speed) The PTO would mount
on the NP-420 Transmission on the driver's side.
(Using a standard 6 hole mtg) Later post war
Dodges had both 6 hole pto opening(s) on the
tarns, and till the mid 60s, a 10 hole pto
opening on the transfer case. (Arrow Gear
type FTD-7 Pto) These are hard to find. Later
60s and up had a six hole pto on the transfer
case.(Uses standard chelsea type PTO)
several early model 1/2 tons were supplied with
Braden MU-2 winch (5000 lb capy) driven from the
transmission like the 3/4ton Militarys and the
WDX style power wagons. These trucks were also
supplied with a one piece extended frame making
them very unique. The 3/4 tons had frame-extensions
like the post war trucks.Hope this helps...
