When I first bought some of these just after Desert Storm they were going for $75 ea. and pretty good condition. As the supply dried up the prices went up to more like $125 ea. and what was mostly left on the market was not too good quality (the law of supply and demand applies here). Watch not only tread depth but the severity of damaged tires i.e. puctures and cuts. Remember they were taken off the LAVs for a reason. With our application on Dodges we will never come close to the working capacity of the tire, so properly repaired cuts and punctures mean a lot less in our application than the severe duty they were originally intended for. I first paid $25 a tire for shipping and the last time it was $44 per tire UPS ground. Fed X was $55 over night delivery. Road Way was about $150 per tire and Yellow Frieght was $168. ea. I told them I could buy the tire a seat on an airplane for that much. If you work at a place that ships your cost would be less because commercial places get a BIG DISCOUNT. So unless the tires are next door consider the shipping. Probably still a bargain considering the tire would cost you about $400 new.
