I'm going to be speaking with some folks out at Pertronix later this week and the topic of discussion will be how they really need to make a kit for Dodge 231/251 flathead engines. I am impressed with the Pertronix approach - it fits entirely under the cap and you would never know that it is there unless you pulled the cap.
What would be really nice to have would be a sampling of distributor numbers from real-world PWs to see what we are up against. They may already make parts that would work if combined in a kit together. If you know your distributor number and would be interested in supporting this effort, please let me know the year of the truck, the engine, and distributor number, also indicate vaccum or no.
