M37- Rearend Replacment

I have a friend who is trying to restore his M37 and has run into a problem. The axle housing is damaged and the grears in the rearend have sat in water and are unreparable. I found a complete rear axle assembly housing with out the rear chunk. My question is will the rear chunk from a WM300 enterchange with the M37? I also have a rear chunk out of a WC52. THANKS!
