A guy I know bought a restored P-51 once. I think it had an engine that was nearly this powerful.
It scared him so much he sold it. He said that the when he pushed on the thottle, the torque was so strong it wanted to spin the airplane over so he had to constantly be thinking and fighting that. SO, he went back to Cessena and Beech.
