How would you splice it 1/2 way? Hint: compression fittings not a good idea on brake lines, especially rusty ones...

I don't think anti-locks make any difference.

Except I don't like the ones on my Ford. They do funny things on gravel, and I think that I rear ended somebody because the system let off as I let off when I felt a skid, so let off was twice what I expected. It was on freshly tarred (greasy?) road...
