PTO install on 3/4 ton tranny while still in truck?

Hey Guys,

I need to install the proper PTO to my 3/4 ton trucks tranny, and was HOPING I didnt have to drop the tranny.

i guess I am getting lazy in my old age. Or is it that busted shoulder?

Whatever.

Is there enough clearance to pull off the existing PTO port cover and slide the gaskets, spacres adn PTO unit in place?

I really dont want to drop that tranny.

I remeber dsoing this on my 1/2 ton years ago, and it was not possible casue the battery tray was in the way.

No battery tray on the 3/4 ton under there
