draw bar brackets mounted of the vertical face of the rear cross member to either side of the rear tail shaft cover. These brackets had a tendency to pull out under hard work, so were soon moved to mount on the bottom of the rear cross member, a much stronger location. These early draw bar brackets ID this truck as a very early WDX. For more informaton, see the November 1987 issue of Power Wagon Advertiser. ;)
