Hi Ron:

What Chris mentioned is good for small areas, but there are a wide varity of tools/boards available for larger areas, and IMHO, it's always best to hand block rather than using a power tool.

I've seen boards up to 24" in length at about 3" wide. They can have pole like handles (front & back on top) or groves on the side (rubber like type) to hold on to. It all depends what feels best for you.

Personally, I like the pole type as ya have more even pressure on the paper & they follow curves better (IMHO).
