Looks like your truck was also still in service in to the 1950s. It has the bigger head light modification on it. My WC53 had that also. You can look at mine and see the WWII Army green, then some Air Force Blue for the post war years. There was some one back in the mid 80s who had the upgrade head light kits for the WC53s and had them for sell in Supply line.
Also, my truck had one more modification that was done to it eather by the Air Force or the Forest survice, some one put on a very nice metal top over the canvas top (the canvas is still there under the sheet metal). It had to have been done while in Goverment service as the work is light years ahead of what "Bubba" could have done.
