A claimed weight of 18,000 lbs. for the half track, add in excess of 7,000 lbs. for the tow rig and you are already over the GCW. Add in the wight of a trailer large enough to haul the load and I would guess you would be way over the allowed combination weight for a 1 ton Dodge. Can it do it? Yeah, it gets done all the time. Is it safe? I sorta doubt it since I would imagine a trailer large enough to haul 18,000 lbs. would put you at or near 30,000 gross. Whole lotta weight to tow around with a pickup, IMHO.
