depending upon which photo you are referring to, I posted two (now three) showing different configurations. The "Standard" front cover depends upon the year and motor series. THIS motor was the STANDARD series 1-2 cover from 1963 to 1967. The one pictured with the brass plug was the standard in series 3 motors and earlier year models, installed in 300 and larger trucks. The intake that he has is an aftermarket unit that apparently only works with the series 1 cover. What year and series is your D100?
