I know very well that I have experienced less of life than many people here, and you may recall that I did listen to and thank everyone for their helpful advice ( "Thanks Mikey" Forum 214), even though I was somewhat insulted. I dont want you all to think that your advice was not taken seriously. It was and because of your advice, the help of others here at home, and my own common sense that I remained safe during my "dangerous" task. I have never meant to talk down to anyone who has treated others with respect. Only those who can not respond civily to a civil (or uncivil) comment are prone to my remarks. I really hate to point fingers, but Paul (in NY) is an excellent example of one who is 100% willing to help anyone with anything in any way he can. I have never seen or heard about a bad word, and insult, or him poking fun at anyone because of their lack of sentence structure capabilities, experience, or even common sense. The message I most often try to convey is that a little more understanding would go a long way. If I have ever talked down to anyone, it might have been because I was first insulted, and against my better judgement I may have snapped back. For the most part, I try to present the most reasonable arguments that I percieve and accept any improvements. Instead of calling me "stupid" (see post below), one might have asked how I actually mounted the tires. Then maybe told me of little faults in my system I was not aware of. This way I have learned something from someone who has much more experience than me. This is what I personally like to see on this forum. Not necessarily trial and error, but the passing of long tested knowledge and common sense to a younger generation.
