When I left this morning from the fantastic Rally, I was proceeding downhill from the Rally location on the rain-slicked dirt road, and came to a slight left hand turn, but my little traction-less pickup decided to continue going straight! I wound up colliding with the well-placed guard rail there, and went offroad a liitle bit - enough to get me stuck in the mud! One of Ken's neighbors came along and stopped to assist. I knew there would be Power Wagons coming along within a short time, so I wasn't worried about things. The damage to the truck was very minor, and so was the driver unhurt! The Guardrail took the brunt of the collision. Gee, nobody ever told me that wet dirt roads are like ice! I was only doing about 30-35 mph tops, as well, but conditions were waiting for me! I arrived home to find that Joan had a bad experience with her car, over the weekend, as well, with damaged wheel and tire on her car. Oh well, it could have been worse! Other than that, the Rally was a tremendous success, and we all had a great time! Thanks very much, Ken and family, for the memories. I'll just have to be a little more careful next time! Dave Maher
P.S. - I dont take my truck out at all in the Winter, if there's even a hint of ice or snow, unless it's got a heavy load in it! The truck is great, except for.....Dave
