Towing Question

I have to pick up a 1992 Dodge W-250 in NH, and get it home to Jersey. I'm thinking of renting a tow dolly from U-Haul to do the job. Have any of you ever used one and if so will it work for me? I just need some thoughts about useing one of these dollies, or not. Thanks
