Just thought I would start a thread on my '60 Power Giant Power Wagon.
I have started building a truck for a daily driver. I started out with a rolled, engineless '95 3/4 ton 4x4 cummins truck with a set of 3:55 gears, NV4500 trans, and a 241DHD np transfer case. I installed a '90 160 hp cummins engine, a '95 dana 80 dulley rearend and a set of dulley front adaptors off of a '03 Dodge 4x4.
I have mounted the '60 PW on to the '95 frame and installed a tilt and telescope column from a '68 chrysler 300.
I cut the rad mount out of the '90 core support and centered it and welded it into the '60 core support support.
I am going to use a hydrovac from a '99 Dodge 3500 for the braking.
I have it all mocked up and so far I haven't ran into any major snags.
If anyone is interested I will keep you updated on the project as it progresses.
The only thing that I am having some trouble with is the heater air cond box (finding one that will fit and is adapatable.
Anyway that is what that I am doing for a driver.
