Actually you on a clay track you want the tires aired up a little and maybe use a higher gear to break the tires loose. On a transfer sled it is all about speed and building momentum before the pan stops you. gearing too low wont get you moving fast enough. but I got 900hp and run a final drive of about 21 to one which gives me a wheel speed of about 55mph or so . i would try low 3rd. I use a 1 to 1 ratio tranny and gear thru a quick change transfer case. this being said i am only 5th in points (I had a pull tonight and beat the guy i was tyed with
