The issue with the lincoln brakes is they do not open wide enough to fit my discs. Both the lincoln and eldorado brakes are finickey to set up. Lots of comments on this and it seems that adjustment is necessary on a frequent basis. In short " they are a pain in the patuey ". My original plan was to use the calipers with the integral parking brake but I am looking for options.

Flea bag - I am running a dana 60 front and a dana 70 rear. The rear has been converted to gm disc brakes - similiar to a helitool set up I would think. I modified the stock front caliper adapters to fit on the rear. NV4500 203 205 doubler and the gear ratio in the axle has yet to be determined. I would love to use the original bead locks , but because of 60 years worth of internal rust , I think the rims are marginal for crawling and dangerous to run at speed.

Thanks Paul I will look at your set up more closely. I will look at a forklift or two as well. HOw well does it work ? Would it stop the Carryall if your brakes failed ?
