Well, actually it was my friend's trailer that lived in Tooele UT at the time and we were heading for Ft Indiantown Gap PA for the big reenactment battle there. I'm not certain whether he didn't get the lug nuts tight, or way too tight, but it sheared off all six studs. Between Carquest and NAPA we were able to come up with enough studs and lug bolts. Neither of them had a press, so I had to beat the old studs out with a big hammer. Sort of a small world when we found out we had mutual friends. I imagine some poor wabbit got the thrill of his life when the wheel came off and we didn't hear it until inside the tunnel. Anyway, must of had a guardian angel looking down on us.
