Guys, I think you are being to general.
If it is a correct numbered generator for a 1947 WDX or something it has much more value then a NAPA core minus shipping.
I would guess if it looks to be in good shape it might be worth as much as $50-$75 plus shipping to the right buyer.
If it is a generic 6 volt generator from a car or something then maybe only $30 or so.
For a guy doing an original restoration having the correct part number is worth a premium.
Just another way of looking at it.
