Got my front bumper drawn out , cut and folded today - 3 hours (that is not counting the 4 hours of driving to chase down non existent dodge stuff ) Of course the bar folder did not quite bend everthing staight. I need to cut ,fit and weld the sucker up too. This will take at least another 3 hours. I need to get some tires mounted before I can fit up thebumper.
As you know the dana is in. i looked at it again today and it looks as good as it did last week.
I have a NV4500. First inspection inside revealed no chips or shiney stuff in the oil. Lots of black coloured stuff on everything ( this is either moly , graphite or metal wear) The magnets had some of this stuff stuck to them ,but it did not stand up like filings do. No rust inside ,no water and the trans has not been disassembled.
What is a good source for a manual for this trans ?
Next I work on that ugly rear spring situation and I go after one of those vans on Dovebid.
