Earlier models had a brush holder that went to ground, the later ones have two wires. Just hook one to ground, the other to the regulator. Ignore the second black one. Make sure to use a star washer under the regulator, to ground it. Put in new brushs too, they are the first thing to go, and are accessible on those Mopar alts from the out side, one screw each, next to the wire connectors.
