Bruce;
The Dodge Gas NV-4500's have a 1.125" x 10 spline input shaft. The are NV-4500. The Dodge Diesel/V-10 Gas NV-4500HD have a 1.250" x 10 Spline input shaft. The output shafts are the same except for spline count. The Gas NV-4500's up to 2000 have a 23 spline output and will mate to a NP-205 from those same years. The NV-4500HD has a 29 spline output and will only mate to a Dodge Version NP-205 from 1989-1993.
The Getrag Flywheel housing adapter and Bell house is not usuable for a NV-4500, everything is different.
The Getrag transmission G 360 is best forgotten. I suggest you dont even consider it.
Now if you have a Dodge 1989-1993 Getrag Flywheel Housing Adapter, you can buy a Bell housing from Advanced Adapters for the NV-4500 that will bolt to the Getrag flywheel housing adapter. This combo also uses the Getrag Clutch, Flywheel, Starter.
Finally, if you locate a standard (gas) NV-4500, you can buy a new 1.250" x 10 Spline input shaft and bearing retainer from Advanced Adapters for less that $150 an convert the NV-4500 to NV-4500HD. Time involved is less than 1 hour ( Yankee Time LOL)
I have a listing of all Dodge NV-4500's. If you locate one, give me the numbers on the Bar Code (located on top of the shift tower) and I can tell you exactly what it is and what year.
