I'd expect the lifters are stuck, from pee.

If there is some play when trying to rock the crank back and forth, then the lifters may be the major problem. Unless the assembler is a total bonehead, bores and rings are lubed at assembly, so are probably OK. Crank's surfaces ditto. My best guess is the lifters- the critter probably got in through the road draft/vent. Like me, the first thing they do when they make it home is hit the toilet. Careful, the cam can break the 'mushroom' off the bottom of the lifters if you try too much force. Clean out the valve area, soak the lifters and valves, and try turning each lifter with a wrench as if adjusting them. When they all spin, try turning ove the crank again...
