You know, I really haven't had a chance to drive my W300("THE BEAST")other than from the tire shop(Les Schwab Tires in Clarkston, WA) back to my house which is a block and a half away. I've been running this same type of tire(fairly aggresive mud)on other rigs and have had really good luck. Around here I do a lot of driving in the woods, and I think my 66 with these tires will climb almost anything. Plus you get all the advantages that are associated with regular car radials, i.e. better wear, mileage, and lower maintenance. I haven't had any trouble with the sidewalls as far as cuts from roots and rocks, but these tires I just bought are "E" load rated(10 ply), so they can take a pretty good whack. Let me know what you get. One more thing, if you are running a dually, tire to frame clearence is REALLY tight--forget about putting on chains on the inner tires. If you are running singles, no problem--the single wheel axle is I believe about 3+ inches wider, so there is plenty of clearence.
