I ran into Jonas after he'd been out "testing" for a couple of hours. I asked "so, what's the verdict?" He said he tried a very difficult hill climb without the locker engaged with no success, then engaged the locker and made it right up. He cited a significant difference, but we'll let Dan and Jonas give their field report.
