Cowl and grill were body color. All early fenders were gloss black as on 2WD Dodge trucks. In later years, fenders could be painted body color as an option. Engine splash shields were black. Winch and non-winch bumbers were chassis black (semi-gloss). Alot of fire trucks had the grills and bumbers repainted silver. Split rims and lug nuts were nickel cad plated.
