I used my durango to pull my 3/4 ton PW from flagstaff to Phoenix no problems but It would start to sway every time we got up over 55 so we went real slow. No special equipment on the durango The trailer is built to be pulled by the truck Its a tandem axle and is rated to hold 15000 pounds which on the truck will hold steady at 85 mph but It did not like being behind the durango.
