Hello all, again. I got yet another question for anyone who knows more than I do, which is just about all of you. Due to some pretty serious rust issues, I was forced to burn off the rear U-bolts on my '51 FFPW. I have now decided that it would be easiest to buy some round stock steel and make my own. That got me wondering what kind of steel I need to get. Is the standard cold rolled steel going to be ok or do I need to find some bolt grade steel? I would hate for them to fail due to my lack of research. Thanks once again.
PS. I will soon be posting some pictures on PhotoBucket for those interested in seeing a rusty '51.
