I've had a few trucks sent to Ca. from out east. I've gotten a lot of logistical help from forum members. I've found flat bed haulers (no ramp for loading) are a less expensive overall. I arrange for a roll back truck at the pick-up point and they transfer it to the flat bed. Be sure and provide the approximate weight and whether or not it runs and has brakes. This can head off a disaster. The $2.00 per loaded mile is a good ballpark figure. You might do better or worse.
