PlastiDip (the dip rubber product for tool handles etc.) recommends toluene as a means for thinning their product.
Doing a quick search on toluene and you come across many gasoline-home-brew-octane-boosting concoctions. It's apparently the *base ingredient* of gasoline and many commercially available octane boosters.
Does the term “Rocket fuel” ring any bells with any of the “older” street racing members out there?
