Anybody Tried the Eastwood Spotweld Gun?

Getting ready to dive into the bodywork on my basket case Road Runner.

Anybody out there have any experience with Eastwood's Spot Weld Gun?

I've heard of other folks drilling holes in the new metal and then
"puddling" with a MIG welder to replicate spot welds, but this would
seem like a better tool .... if it works.
