I just received my build card for my '46 WDX Power Wagon from the Daimler Chrysler Historical Collection. I was wondering if anybody could help me understand it better.
My truck is #1015 in the build sequence finished on June 28, 1946. The PW registry says it was built in Detroit so I assume the Brooklyn, NY stamp on the card is the dealer shipping destination.
I've now confirmed that the truck still has the original engine #2135 (hooray), pintle hook, 16" wheels & tires, tow hooks & axle ratio.
But what is the meaning of the following?:
BODY MODEL: 56
COLOR: 6 (interior looks like original submarine green)
TRAC. RO: 7
WHEELS: 1 (maybe this is the extra side mounted wheel)
OIL FILTER: 5 (an oil filter was an option?)
H?0 CLNR: 1
S??P VIA: 1
Do you see any reference on this card about the winch? The truck currently has a MU2 on it. Also where can I find the BODY NUMBER (1036) on the truck?
Thank you all in advance for the assistance.
PS: Can anybody read Punch Card? (just kidding)
PPS: I have truck pictures available at

Lastly, the Historical Collection also sent some pictures of '46 Power Wagons including a '51 Body Builders Layout which shows all the body panel dimensions, heights & alignment measurements. They also sent a few pictures I haven't yet seen in books or on the web. I'll try to post these pictures in the next day or so.
