FFPW Windshield wipers

Are there any suggestions on new electric windshield wipers, either 6V or 12V for a FFPW? As I recall, people haven't been too pleased with the mighty wiper from VPW, besides it costing your first born which I won't sell.

How have people switched them typically? On the dash, or wiper cover plate? Did someone have a lead on them from a marine supply house?
