The main reason everybody around me was lucky was because I did it when nobody was around me. I left Everett at 9 when nobody was heading east, had no traffic over the pass, went through Wenatchee at 1 am or so, got up to the Waterville plateau while nobody else was trying to climb the grade, and slept a couple hours and headed out before anybody else was on the road. I went through Spokane at mid-morning but I took the old US 10 route through the city streets from Geiger field to Greenacres.
But like I said, nobody should do it that way. Much safer and less stressful to rent a big truck and a good equipment trailer, or better yet just pay somebody to haul it.
