Why So Few Old Dodge Tow Trucks?

Okay, so I'll admit to being a tow truck fan from before Cooter moved to Hazzard County.

The temptation exists to sell/trade my '41 Carryall project for one.

Looking at the old tow trucks on ebay, I keep wondering why I never see any old 2wd Dodges. Plenty of Chevies and Fords, with a few Internationals, etc thrown in.

There's gotta be a reason...Dodges were certainly tough enough!
