You know better than that! You meant to say that it reaches it's design strength in 28 days. Cure is abitrary depending upon moisture conditions in the mix, atmosphere and soil.
Paul as for setting the unit, you'll be fine, 75-85% of design strength is reached in 5-7 days. You have between now an dthen to spray the slab with a sealer or use John's method it will work fine and be easily cleanable.
