Hi Paul,
Coat it with "cure and seal". It will help the cure and will seal the concrete. Its clear and thin like water. It applies with a garden sprayer. I used it on my shop when I built it and have never put any other finish on it. You need to put it on fairly soon after the concrete is finished but a day or 2 may be ok. Check the can to be sure.
