CA isn't even a moderate democrat run state, the leftwing democrats have been in power here since the late 80's. Arnold is the closet thing to a moderate democrat and he's very liberal on social issues. CA is as far from a republican run state as you can get, it's a cesspool of liberalism and it's troubles and failures reflect that. 8 million middle class folks have left the state in the last 6 years, fed up and taxed out.
