Which paper filter was used?

I guess that I've seen too many engines go tooo many miles with paper filters to think them very deficient. So, I wonder if they used a real cheapy on this test- fewer square inchs of fine paper. It would hold less dirt and have less air flow than a better filter, and plug quickly. No link for more info of that test...
