Stocks rise and fall on emotion day to day, but the price of gas has nothing to do with "greedy" oil companies. They take advantage of scarcity and may be guilty at times of some manipulation. try raising the price of what you do to absurd heights and see what happens to you. Unless you control supply 100%, you can't sustain your high price.
