Just to let you know, I've used the readistrip on aluminum and steel, as I stripped the paint from the military lights. No ill effects at all, the product is rated for wood, metal, concrete, fiberglass, etc. It's safe andeffective. I'm about to use it on my cab, which is still on the frame, it's aluminum and steel. The stuff is thick enough to paint on vertical surfaces and needs to sit for 4 to 24 hours, then be scraped off.
